The Trakehner

The Trakehner is the oldest and most highly-bred of all Warmblood breeds with a history that reaches back to the 13th century, the time of the german order of knights.
The Trakehner is keen, alert, extremely intelligent and quick to learn, yet patient, accepting and able to take concentrated work without blowing up.

Broodmares

Many of our Claratal brood mares wear the moose antler brand and are proud representatives of the true Trakehner horse in Namibia.

Their pedigrees include famous sires like Elite Stallion Bartholdy, Königsruf, SeducerXX, Moss CableXX, Millitary SongXX, Atty PesseXX, etc.

Claratal is also proud home of two imported fully licensed Trakehner Stallions.

We work close together with the German Gestüt Vogelsangshof, Gestüt Gorlo, Gestüt Elmarshausen as well as the Haupt- und Landgestüt Marbach to bring new Trakehner Bloodlines to Namibia using A I.
