The Freyer family wants to say HELLO and a warm welcome to our guests. We offer accommodation and activities for a perfect stay in the wild in Khomas Hochland.
Farm Claratal offers MTB & hiking trails in a breathtaking surrounding – nature at its best! Lots of game and african savannah around. If you want to stay longer, we offer 2 campsites or braaiplaces for relaxing. Enjoy your stay, doesn’t matter if it is only for a few hours, a weekend or even longer.

We offer 2 lovely campsites situated 1.5km from the farmhouse, above the Hoanob riverbed which can also be booked as braaiplace for day visitors.
MTB and hiking
We offer a variety of well marked trails for MTB, hiking or trail-running, just bring your bike, boots or shoe.
Horse riding
You love horses?
Doesn’t matter if you never sat on one our you are an experienced rider, we have the ultimate outride for you!

Claratal Bosnmaras
The Claratal Bonsmaras have a long history, Ekki Freyer senior started breeding this famous cattle in 1976. His son Heiko assisted since the 90th, took over in 2013 and keeps the tradition.
What we offer
If you like, just relax when you visit us, or if you prefer an active lifestyle, choose some of our activities. Even as day visitor, we are only 35km out of Windhoek and the road is half tarred.

We were welcomed by the owner very friendly. We did the 16 km hiking trail and it was well marked and the views from the highlands were very spectacular.
